Sure, cranberries sparkle in the fall and winter. But they like to chill
out in late summer heat waves, too. Not only do cranberries show off
all their natural assets at picnics and cookouts, including their great
taste, vivid color and healthy antioxidants, did you know that they
may actually help keep summer foods safe to eat? Cool! Just when you
think you’ve heard everything about the cranberry… there’s more! New
research (check
it out here) suggests that incorporating cranberry into food preparation,
one day, may be a natural way to minimize food contamination. In the
meantime, chill out with cranberries at your late summer gatherings.
Have fun! |
