Summer’s finally here, the sun is out and everyone’s in the mood for an outdoor celebration. Take advantage of the great weather by throwing a get-together for friends, family and neighbors. Whether you're hosting Fourth of July festivities or an impromptu party, summer entertaining should be fun, festive and most importantly, effortless. Make sure your cookout is memorable, but don’t spend the whole party stuck in the kitchen. Put together an inventive menu that’s quick and easy yet goes beyond those boring burgers and dogs. Surprise your guests with something a little bit different… brighten up your barbeque menu with cranberries! They’re surprisingly versatile and add a burst of real fruit flavor to refreshing cocktails, mouthwatering grilled dishes and delectable summertime desserts. You'll be able to savor the cocktail you've been craving and since it only has 50 little calories, you'll be free to indulge in dessert, too!

5-0 Cosmo

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces Diet Ocean Spray® Cranberry Spray Juice Drink
  • 3/4 ounce raspberry-flavored vodka
  • Squeeze of lime
  • Lime twist, garnish

Directions:

Shake ingredients, except lime twist, until cold, in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a chilled glass. Garnish with lime twist. Makes 1 serving.

It’s Time for Mouthwatering Meals and Divine Desserts!

Summer’s the perfect time for entertaining, but are you ready for something new? Keep it interesting and easy by dressing up all of your favorite dishes with unbelievably good salsas and sauces. And also, wow your guests simply by adding a splash of fruit flavor to the dessert table!
  • Add a surprising twist to that old standby, cole slaw. Try out Crimson Slaw.
  • Don’t forget about the kids. Make some Wildberry Whoopee Pops so the younger crowd can cool down too while savoring their fun, fruity flavor.

There are lots of other warm-weather menu ideas that will help you entertain without worry.
